Individual Psychotherapy

I provide ongoing psychotherapy for adults seeking a deeper understanding of their internal experience, particularly in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and complex emotional patterns.

Many of the individuals I work with have had prior therapy. In some cases, it has been helpful—but something has remained unresolved. Patterns continue, emotional responses feel disproportionate or confusing, or there is a sense that important aspects of their experience have not yet been fully understood.

My work is oriented toward this space.

Together, we focus on carefully articulating what is often difficult to name, identifying underlying patterns, and making sense of experiences that may have felt unclear or contradictory. This is not a structured, short-term approach. Therapy unfolds over time, allowing for reflection, insight, and a more complete understanding of your internal world.

I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects your process. Your own insight and self-knowledge are central, and my role is to help clarify, organize, and give language to what may already be partially known but not yet fully articulated.

Patients often find that over time, their experience becomes more coherent, their responses feel more understandable, and they are able to engage in their lives with greater clarity and intention.

This work may be a good fit if you are looking for a depth-oriented approach, particularly if previous therapy has not fully addressed what brings you in.

What Sessions Feel Like

Sessions are conversational, but focused. You are given space to speak freely, while I listen closely for patterns, themes, and moments that may hold particular significance.

At times, I may slow the pace to stay with something that feels important but not yet fully understood. Part of the work involves putting language to experiences that may have felt vague, confusing, or difficult to articulate.

You may find that aspects of your experience are reflected back in a way that feels more precise or organized than you have been able to hold on your own. Over time, this can lead to a clearer understanding of patterns in your thinking, emotions, and relationships.

The process is collaborative and thoughtful. There is room for reflection, uncertainty, and ongoing exploration. Sessions are not driven by a fixed agenda, but guided by what emerges and what feels most important to understand more fully.

Many patients describe feeling heard and understood in a way that allows their experience to become more coherent, and more manageable, over time.
